  7. my 9003 is using 2.2.1 firmware and rooted with applied lag fix, can i flash the 2.3.4 firmware directly?

  8. KC and Kim, the I900JHJV8 file includes different kind of files than those mentioned.
    It has the files: boot.bin, sbl.bin, modem.bin, cache.rfs, factoryfs.rfs, param.lfs, zImage

Could you provide a resource for how to use these files with Odin and such?

  9. It's a single .tar file you have extracted. Just load the single file on the PDA slot.. then flash.. same method above.. but without bootloader, CSC and Phone file

  10. I did exactly as you said and ODIN made it successfully but unfortunately my phone stucks at the android logo and a box with arrow and when I reboot, it begins looping through Samsung animation for ever, What can I do?

  11. Factory reset and wipe data cache will fix bootloops. If it doesn't revert back to your previous firmware version or fund another most latest version.

  12. when i downloaded the file and extracted the contents, i only got a .tar.md5 file. where do i get the .pit file? according to you post above, i need to load the file in the PDA slot right? i saw another tutorial that says we should not select the re-partition check-box. what may be the reason for this. any help would be appreciated. thanks
