After the latest update of 2.3.4 Gingerbread I9003XXKP7 beta version which reportedly has a "sleep mode" bug problem issues, here comes another Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread update Stock ROM for Samsung Galaxy SL I9003. We hope this one carry the fixes from the previous leaked beta version (we don't know yet). This is built for Europe version of Galaxy S SL I9003 only.

The new update can now be available for download at samfirmware.com , they manage to expose the said leaked firmware update. It 's labeled I9003XXKP9 with a build date of June 21 2011.
Please Note: this is only a leaked Stock ROM release. So, if you are not sure and not familiar with firmwares for your Samsung Galaxy S SL I9003, just wait for it via KIES update. If you wanted to give a risk and try it out, you can grab a copy on the link below:

last week i am upgrade my Galaxy si9003 with xxkp7 but my cell frequent hang so i reload the ddka5 from service station after gingerbread 2.3.4 camera hangs but i want to know that after clear firmware upgrade with version xxkp9 it works but when after 2nd time flashing thanks

I dont see any changes in my phone right from my user interface to performance. Also the menu style and lock screen is exactly like froyo, which is strange, Gingerbread sports a new menu style (3D cube) and has a different lock screen mechanism (like in Sony ericcson xpheria). This is utterly useless update. No feel of gingerbread at all...
ReplyDeleteYou guys are just fooling people around with this stupid updates. all you do is to download the froyo version and make some changes to make the home screen options look like gingerbread (battery icon, signal icon etc) and call it gingerbread...

ReplyDeleteHi there maniji, too bad to hear that, you may try to use a download mode jig to force you SGS into download mode. If you'll still get into download mode, you have a chance to re-install the firmware. if it does not. the only way of it is by flashing through JTAG which far very hard enough to do and only serviceman can do it.

ReplyDeleteHave a minor problem. Camera shots are easily corrupted. At first you can still open but after a while i wont open. What seems to be d problem? Is it common for I9003 coz i experienced this too with my galaxy Ace.
