Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570XXKPI Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread Update Firmware (ODIN Stock ROM)

The Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread version for Samsung Galaxy Mini 5570 is out now and can be downloaded from Samfirmware.com. The firmware version was build with a label of S5570XXKPI the CSC is S5570SERKPI and the OPS file is the same. This firmware which has a build date of June 02 2011.

Some users have trouble about the GPS function for their devices that runs the update of 2.3.3 Gingerbread XXKPF. We did not yet tried installed this as for now but hoping that this firmware version is packed to fix other certain issues from previous versions.

  1. does it handle now the battery wisely?cause even though I upgrade my phone to 2.3.3, the battery is still fast draining. and from the last post of 2.3.3, the author told that 2.3.4 will be handle the battery wisely. So I am here to clarify if that feature includes in this pack. Thank you.

  2. what do you mean by "the OPS file is the same."??
    so when i will flash to 2.3.4, i'll just use the OPS file from 2.3.3? Am i right?

  4. I`ve installed Samsung Galaxy Mini to Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with S5570XXKPI firmware and works perfectly, but i don`t have a clue about how to root the phone, since SuperOneClick don`t work on Gingerbread (even shortfuse.otg is down).
    I wanted to try with CF-Root, but i don`t know which version is suitable for me.
    Anyone can help ?

  6. Haven't tried 3g but my GPRS no longer works; all I have is WIFI to get on which sucks

  9. @buLLet Try changing to DD°MM.MMM' instead DD.DDDDDD° (decimal). Fixed my GPS issues.

  12. Updated from 2.3.3 (XXKPF) to 2.3.4 (XXKPJ). Works well with no issues so far. Apps and settings are still there. Thanks!

  15. yes it will work.. but some functionality issues may occurs like gps and wifi... you may need to manually set the apn once upgraded...
